Our School

Our school

Our School

Joy.Sing, strum, leap, pirouette. When kids participate in the arts, they open themselves to joy. Joy, confidence, patience, creativity and curiosity - all the good stuff that contributes to a life worth celebrating.Bloom was years in the making. Co-Directors Laura and David taught every child, of all ages in every situation imaginable. Years of connecting, learning, understanding and growing. The thread that unified every experience was the realization that when kids bond with the arts, they find a special piece of themselves. Those years of teaching showed that the goal of every arts educator should be pretty simple - cultivate the amazing connection every child naturally has to music and dance. Feed it and help it grow. Fast, slow, no matter, as long as it thrives.Nourish it till it Blooms. So Bloom was born in the Spring of 2008 in the wonderful LA neighborhood of Eagle Rock, Ca. with the mission to give every child the skills and inspiration to find themselves in music and dance and take that joy and passion into adulthood. What started as a 3 room studio has grown into a bustling school with a vibrant community of students, staff, teachers and families experiencing all the joy and adventure that a positive journey in music and dance offers. We love our school and the community we are so very fortunate to be a part of.Allow us to introduce ourselves

What they do have in common is a wealth of knowledge, a deep well of teaching experiences and a passion for sharing their love of the arts with each and every student.Every teacher at Bloom understands the importance of meeting every child exactly where that child is. Inclusive, personalized education that builds confidence and identity and helps kids love who they are - this is the Bloom way.

Policies and Procedures

Our Studio Safety Policies and Procedures 2022/23

We follow the Safer Studio ™ Guidelines

As we start the new season here at Bloom, we wanted to share with you the guidelines and safety procedures we have set in place for in-person classes. These guidelines include social distancing, limited capacity in classes, increased sanitary and cleaning measures, mask wearing for our staff and students as per government mandate, hospital grade air purification and more.We believe that music lessons and dance classes are a vital part of your child’s growth as a person and artist. We are truly grateful that we still have the opportunity to do that. With your help in following these guidelines, we can make dance and music safe and accessible! The City of Los Angeles requires proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 for students 12 years of age or older in order to participate in in-person indoor instruction. Students 18 years of age or older must also provide identification.

Wellness Checks For Staff

All teachers and staff members will receive regular and continuing safety training as it relates to preventing community spread of COVID-19.All staff members are wellness checked before their shift.

Daily Home Wellness Checks - Parent Responsibility

Parents are required to do a family wellness check before leaving their home to bring their child(ren) to school to ensure that no family members have symptoms related to COVID-19 and do not have a fever.

Student Wellness Check Upon Arrival

Bloom reserves the right to check the temperature of any student that seems to show any symptoms of sickness. For the safety of the entire community, we will go by the results of our thermometer, despite what the child’s temperature may have been before leaving home.Any child with a temperature of 100.4 or over will not be able to join the class. This also applies to any child exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms such as, but not limited to, a runny nose, cough, fever or chills, sore throat, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, muscle or body aches. If you or your child have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or has respiratory illness, your child will need to remain home for 14 days from the day of exposure.Below are the questions everyone must answer no to upon entering our facilities:- Have you had any close contact with a confirmed case of COVID recently?
- Are you experiencing any shortness of breath, coughing, or sore throat?
- Have you had a fever in the past 48 hours?
- Have you experienced any loss of taste or smell within the last 48 hours?
- Have you recently experienced any vomiting or diarrhea?
Parents are asked to keep their children at home if they, or a member of their household, have a fever or respiratory symptoms. They may still attend class virtually.Parents are asked not to send their children to class if they, or a member of their household, have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days. They may attend class virtually. Same tuition applies.

Hand Hygiene

Employees will wash hands and/or sanitize before and after each lesson and class.Hand sanitizer will be available directly inside all entrances, outside of every classroom, and inside the classrooms. Students will be required to wash hands and/or sanitize before and after classes.Hand washing posters are posted within bathrooms.

Enhanced Cleaning Procedures

We have increased our cleaning frequencies and sanitation procedures in high traffic areas and high touch surfaces of the studio such as doors, barres, floors, counters, stereos, pianos, mallets, shakers, sticks etch and bathrooms.

Enhanced Ventilation And Air Purification Systems

In addition to using fog machines to kill airborne and aerosol virus particles, we have invested extensively in Medical grade air purifiers to increase ventilation and filter out virus particles that may be in the air. “H13 Medical Grade HEPA - Captures 99.9% of particles down to 0.1 microns. Commonly referred to as ‘medical grade filtration’ as it relates to the purity of the air filtered.” - MedifyAir

Minimized Mixing And Mingling

We have made facility, scheduling, and curricular changes to reduce mixing and mingling in support of social distancing recommendations. However, we understand that unlike older children and adults, young children cannot be expected to maintain social distancing at all times.

Facility & Curricular Adjustments

Parents and guardians are encouraged to wait outside during their student’s classes. In accordance with the LA City ordinance, all eligible individuals must be fully vaccinated to access indoor lobby waiting areas and hall areas. Please bring clearly labeled water bottles.Dancers will bring all dance bags into the studio for changing shoes. Dancers are asked to only bring necessary items, yoga mat, towel and water bottle with them into the studio.Doors will remain open during lessons. No food will be allowed in the school.Curricular adjustments have been made to reduce prop use (unless one use only), eliminate hand-holding and to reduce mixing and mingling in the classrooms.Class sizes have been modified to reflect current county recommendations, and to allow for social distancing.Students and teachers will refrain from high fives, fist bumps, stickers, and hand stamps.Classrooms and lessons start times have been offset to reduce traffic. Lessons will end 3 minutes early to allow for students to transition safely.

Bathroom Use

We encourage all students to use the restroom at home before coming to class.Bathrooms will be limited for emergencies and will be cleaned frequently.

Masks

Our employees will be wearing masks per government mandate. All parents and students ages 2 and older are required (per government mandates on mask wearing while in public places) to wear masks while attending classes and lessons whether inside or outside.

Arrival & Departure

Private Music Lessons

Private music students will enter and exit using the front entrance of the building. The east side will be for arriving students and the west side will be for students exiting the building.

Dance Classes and Group Music Classes

Dance and group music students will enter and exit from the rear of the building. Staff and students will be the only people allowed in the building. Class times have been offset so dance and group music students don’t arrive or finish at the same time. Families can wait in designated distanced spots behind the building or in their car. There will be no vehicles allowed in the parking lot behind the school.Students will not enter until directed by a staff member. Adults and siblings can wait in their cars or outside during classes to help with social distancing in the building. Parents of little dancers under age 5 are able to escort dancers to their classrooms if necessary for dancers comfort. But then must leave and wait outside or in their vehicles during class time. Please limit caregiver drop off to one person whenever possible. Sibling visitors cannot be accommodated during this term.Parents will be asked to wait outside for students to be released. At the end of class, parents must be by the dropoff door to receive their child. Due to safety reasons, students will need to wait at the door from which they entered for adults that are late picking up. Please don’t be late!

Gradual Re-Opening And Readjusting

We are gradually reopening with small class sizes and proper time for cleaning and sanitation. The last 3-5 minutes of private lessons will now be dedicated to transition time and will be used for packing up, making homework notes, cleaning and sanitizing, or checking in with parents if necessary. We will continue to follow any government mandates and are committed to readjusting to keep our students, staff, and families at home as safe as possible.

Tech-Enabled Facilities

In this ever-changing situation, music and dance classes at Bloom will remain consistent! We're ready to teach in-person, in a hybrid, or through full distance learning. All teaching studios and classes will have Zoom capabilities for those who wish to start or continue online. Answers to your frequently asked questions.

Questions? Give us a call: 323-982-1655

HOW LONG ARE THE LESSONS AND CLASSES?Most students take 30 min. weekly lessons. Though it is possible to take longer lessons, we feel that a concentrated 30 min. is plenty of time and especially best with a beginner. Dance classes are 55 min except Creative Dance which is 45min. All early childhood music and movement classes are 50 minutes.

WHAT IS LESSONMATE?Every private student who is currently enrolled in lessons has a free account with LessonMate. LessonMate is a secure website where teachers post information regarding the students' lessons. The teacher may include audio files, notes, PDFs and instructional videos. Check out LessonMate for more information and a brief explanatory video.

DO I PAY FOR MISSED PRIVATE LESSONS?If your teacher misses and we don't have a sub for you, absolutely not. If you cannot make it to lessons, your teacher, during your regularly scheduled time, will compile a complete lesson for you complete with review and new concepts to work on for the week. This will all be done via LessonMate. A link will be emailed to you. No missed weeks!

WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO START PRIVATE LESSONS?Adults and teens can start any instrument at any time. For children, starting private lessons at the right time is the key element to the success of the lessons. The “sooner the better” approach does not work in private music lessons. In fact, starting too soon simply leads to stopping too soon. Young kids learn through their bodies and having them sit still in a lesson for 30 minutes is not age appropriate. Blooms Early Childhood classes are designed to provide children with all the tools they need to succeed later in private lessons. We recommend waiting until at least 6 years old (8 for drums and guitar) before beginning private lesson instruction.

DO I HAVE TO OWN MY OWN INSTRUMENT OR CAN I RENT ONE?This depends upon the instrument that is being studied. We recommend purchasing if you are studying guitar, piano (buy a keyboard with full size keys that are touch sensitive) or drums (renting really not an option). The initial expense for these instruments does not have to be much. For violin, viola, cello, or woodwinds (sax, clarinet and flute), renting might be a more feasible option at first.

DO WE HAVE THE SAME TIME EVERY WEEK?Yes. Your lesson time is reserved every week just for you and cannot be taken by anyone else. You have the same time and day each week. We know how important having a convenient time is for our busy parents!

CAN I CHANGE MY TIME ONCE I START MY LESSONS?We are happy to change your lesson time to another permanent time that’s available.

DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?Yes, we do. All our families are set up to pay for their lessons each month on an auto-pay schedule using either a credit/debit card or a direct debit from their checking account.

ARE GROUP LESSONS AVAILABLE? HOW DO THEY DIFFER FROM PRIVATE LESSONS?Group lessons are available at specific times of the year. Usually we’ll offer them in the fall, again in the winter and then in the summer. Group lessons are finite in that they are not to take the place of private lessons. They are a way for students to see and decide if that instrument is indeed the instrument of their choice. Group lessons differ from private in some very distinct ways. Firstly, the pace is much slower since the instructor needs to meet all the needs of the class. Secondly, private lessons are tailored to meet the individual student’s needs and interests. Students progress much more quickly in private lessons. And lastly, group lessons are for a specific period of time like 6 weeks or 8 weeks. Private lessons are ongoing.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO A TRIAL LESSON?Yes, you can take one trial lesson on the instrument of your choice to get a taste of what lessons will be like!

WHY IS MY DANCE/EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC TUITION THE SAME EVERY MONTH WHEN MONTHS LIKE DECEMBER ONLY HAVE 2 OR 3 CLASSES?The tuition amount is averaged out over the year. Sometimes there are 4 classes, sometimes there are 5 and in December there may be 2 or 3. The averaged tuition makes it easier for you to know that the account will be charged the exact same amount each month and makes the cost less for some months when there are 5 classes. If tuition were less in December, monthly tuition would be more for the rest of the year. Private lessons are tallied per lesson scheduled - so if there are 3 lessons, tuition is for 3. If there are 5 private lessons scheduled, tuition is for 5.

WHEN IS THE SCHOOL CLOSED?It is always best to check the Calendar page on the website for exact dates. We are closed for most major holidays.

CAN I TAKE LESSONS WITH ONE OF MY FRIENDS?Private lessons work best when they are taken alone. Even if the students are both the same age and at the same level, they are going to learn at different rates and even more importantly in different ways. The job of the teacher is to adapt a lesson plan to fit the needs of an individual student. This becomes too difficult and ultimately fails to work when teaching more than one student in a lesson over a period of time.

CAN I SWITCH TO ANOTHER INSTRUMENT MID-MONTH?Yes! If you begin the month with, let’s say, piano, and decide mid-month that you would rather study drums, it’s simply a matter of coordinating new lesson times/new teacher with the front desk.

WHEN CAN I START LESSONS?Music lessons, music classes, and dance classes are all ongoing, so you can start anytime!

CAN I TAKE A LESSON EVERY OTHER WEEK?We don’t offer an hour lesson every other week for a couple of reasons. Firstly, we have found through our experience of teaching thousands of lessons, when learning something that has both conceptual and physical demands, like playing a musical instrument or singing, it’s important to have weekly “check-ins”. Repetition is a key factor in learning how to play. Two weeks is too long for students to remember everything their teacher showed them in the last lesson. With lessons every other week, it’s almost like starting over again each lesson. Secondly, we have found that students don’t practice any more in a 2-week period than in a 1-week period. As a result, students take more than twice as long to learn the same amount, negating any effort to save money. Remember that learning a musical instrument is very much like learning a foreign language.

CAN I WATCH MY CHILD’S LESSON?We ask that parents/guardians wait outside the lesson room. If you have questions for the instructor, talk before or immediately after the lesson.

IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF LESSONS THAT I HAVE TO TAKE?We recommend that a student take at least 8 lessons or two months worth in order to see some progress and to see if it's a good fit. This is what we recommend, but it is not required. Keep in mind that the school does require a 30-day notice to withdraw.

DO YOU HAVE RECITALS AND HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?We offer several performance opportunities each year. There are annual winter and spring recitals, student composition recitals, family music night recitals, and performance workshops each month. The Spring Music Recital has a participation fee of $20. All guests are free. Our annual dance recital has a fee that includes costume, alterations, 2 tickets, digital download of the performance and group pic.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO IF I WANT TO STOP MY CHILD'S CLASSES OR LESSONS?The school requires a 30-day written notice for students that want to withdraw. No refunds are issued. Fill out and email the withdrawal form to Bloom. The 30-day withdrawal period begins once that form is submitted. No refunds will be made for any missed classes or lessons. For more information, see our Policy page.

5 Ways To Get The Most Out Of Lessons

1. HOW YOUNG IS TOO YOUNG - STARTING AT THE RIGHT AGEAdults can start any instrument at any time. We have taught beginners in their 60’s and 70’s.
For children, starting private lessons at the right age is a key element to the success of their lessons. Some people will tell you “the sooner the better” but this attitude can actually backfire and be a negative. Many parents want their children to start private instruction at 5 years of age or even earlier. Depending on the child, this can be very stressful. Kindergarten is already stressful with new rules, new friends, and new teachers. At a time when children are learning through a brain body connection, having them sit still in a lesson for 30 minutes may not be the best path to take. They are still learning through movement.
If a child is put into lessons too soon, feelings of frustration may make them want to discontinue. Their first private instruction experience is crucial to their continuation and enjoyment of music making! Just waiting a year to begin lessons will bring quicker progress and a much more fun experience. Children who are older than the suggested earliest starting age tend to learn complicated concepts more quickly, progress faster and stick with music lessons longer than their younger counterparts.0-3 years Mommy/Daddy & Me and Family Music classes are a wonderful way to start. From the moment we are born, synapsis are formed in the brain, that if stimulated, will increase a child’s aptitude for music. If these are not used, they disappear. Singing to/with your child is as important as talking to/with your child.3 - 4 years Music and Movement. Children love music. This is a wonderful time to start developing the musician before the formal environment of private lessons. Children learn by doing. These group classes teach music fundamentals through the body first. These are essential for a smooth transition into private lessons. Students obtain a true understanding of steady beat, singing on pitch, rhythm and form. At this age, private lessons generally do not work as the child has not yet experienced the formal learning environment of kindergarten or school and learns more effectively through games, play and a movement oriented preschool environment.5-6 years Music Fundamentals “pick an instrument!”. We have music and movement classes for 5-6 year olds that involve intros to piano and violin as well as reading/writing rhythms, getting to know the staff, musical alphabet, improvisation, composition and important music fundamentals. This ensures a strong and positive transition into the private lesson experience.Piano/Keyboard - At Bloom we recommend waiting till the age of 6 or at least spring of Kindergarten year. It's important that children can retain the information and not be learning through rote, but have a true understanding. Without this, children tend to lose interest within a year of starting. Even the most talented and musical kids can benefit staying in the group class until they've reached this age. The musician in them will be stronger for it!Guitar - Acoustic, Electric and Bass - 7 or 8 years old is the earliest we recommend for guitar lessons. Guitar playing requires a fair amount of pressure on the fingertips from pressing on the strings. Children under 8 generally have small hands and may find playing uncomfortable. Bass guitar students generally are 10 years old and older.Ukulele - The are different ways to approach the ukulele. The soprano ukulele is usually the one everyone wants to play. If you know you have a budding guitarist on your hands and they're only 6 or 7, they could try the baritone ukulele. The baritone ukulele uses the same first 4 strings as the guitar so when they make the switch, they don't have to learn completely new fingerings.Voice Lessons - 10 years old is recommended as the youngest age for private vocal lessons. Due to the physical nature of voice lessons (proper breathing techniques, development of the vocal chords and lung capacity), the younger body is generally not yet ready for the rigors of vocal technique. For children younger than 10, we have a chorus that teaches them how to use their voices properly, in a fun, relaxed environment. We also encourage all of our instrumentalists to sing while playing their instrument.Drums - The average age of our youngest drum student is 8. This varies greatly depending on the size of the child. They have to be able to reach both the pedals and the cymbals.Recorder - The recorder can be started in first grade. Again it's best to have had Music Fundamentals or music classes that stress competencies in pulse, rhythm, pitch, reading and writing rhythms, echoes, and expressing beat in a multitude of ways before entering any private lesson.Flute, Clarinet & Saxophone - Due to lung capacity (and in the case of the saxophone the size of the instrument), we recommend that most woodwind beginners are 9 and older.Violin - We accept violin students from the age of 5 (preferably spring of Kinder as the earliest). Some teachers will start children as young as 3, but experience has shown us the most productive learning occurs when the beginner is 5 or older. A 6 year old will learn in a matter of weeks what took the 3-5 year old years to learn. For the 5-6 year old, we recommend considering our group music fundamentals class that involve intros to piano and violin as well as reading/writing rhythms and important music fundamentals. This ensures a strong and positive transition to the private lesson experience. Regardless of the exact age of starting, due to the difficulty of just the physical part of playing violin, it's important the student has a strong sense of pulse in a variety of genres of music, echo rhythms properly, sing on pitch, understand the musical alphabet and be able to move up and down and skip around with ease, be able to hear when notes go up/down, fast/slow, high/low - basically all things they learn in our music fundamentals class.Trumpet/Trombone - Brass instruments require physical exertion and lung power. 9 years and older is a good time to start the trumpet.2. INSIST ON PRIVATE LESSONS WHEN LEARNING A SPECIFIC INSTRUMENTGroup classes or lessons should never take the place of private lessons. Once a session of group classes have finished, private lessons should be insisted upon. When a student chooses their favorite instrument to learn, private lessons are far superior to the group experience. Details are harder to miss in private lessons and each student can learn at their own pace. The teacher has the time and focus to work on the individual student’s strengths and weaknesses. For that lesson period, the student is the primary focus of the teacher.3. TAKE LESSONS IN A PROFESSIONAL TEACHING ENVIRONMENTLearning music is not just a matter of having a qualified teacher, but also having an environment that is focused on music education. In a professional school environment a student cannot be distracted by t.v., pets, ringing phones, siblings or anything else. With only 1/2 to one hour of lesson time per week, a professional school environment can produce better results since the only focus at that time is learning music. Students in a school environment are also motivated by hearing peers who are at different levels and by being exposed to a variety of musical instruments. In a music school, the lessons are not just a hobby or sideline for the teacher but a responsibility, which is taken very seriously.A professional school environment also ensures playing or performing opportunities and a chance to hear other students as well.4. MAKE PRACTICING EASIERAs with anything, improving in music takes practice. One of the main problems with music lessons is the drudgery of practicing and the fight between parents and students to practice every day. Here are some ways to make practicing easier: Here is a short list of ideas. For more see our blog post devoted to practicing!Time-Set the same time every day to practice so it becomes part of a routine or habit. This works particularly well for children. Generally the earlier in the day the practicing can occur, the less reminding is required by parents to get the child to practice.Repetition-We use this method quite often when setting practice schedules for beginners. For a young child 20 or 30 minutes seems like an eternity. Instead of setting a time frame, we use repetition. For example, practice this piece 4 times every day, and this scale 5 times a day. The child then does not pay attention to the amount of time they are practicing their instrument, but knows if they are on repetition number 3 they are almost finished.Free Time-Always allow for some free warm up time or just time to explore and fool around on their instrument. This is the time they get to play what they want how they want. Many times this "fooling around" time turns into compositions and/or a deeper connection with music and their instrument.Rewards-Some families love this, others don't believe in it. Rewards can work very well for both children and adult students. Some adults reward themselves with a cappuccino after a successful week of practicing or a great lesson. Parents can encourage children to practice by granting them occasional rewards for successful practicing. Encouragement tends to be the most coveted award. A parent encouraging their child to stick with it when it gets difficult - there just is no substitute for a pat on the back for good hard work. The reality is we all have a week with little or no practicing. During certain times of the year like holidays and big sports seasons it can be an entire month. This is just part of the hills and valleys of learning this new language called music. Hang in there! It always gets better.5. USE RECOGNIZED TEACHING MATERIALSThere are some excellent materials developed by professional music educators that are made for students in a variety of situations. For example in piano, there are books for very young beginners, and books for adult students that have never played before. There are books that can start you at a level for which you are comfortable. These materials have been researched and are continually upgraded and improved to make learning easier. These materials ensure that no important part of learning the instrument can inadvertently be left out. If you ever have to move to a different part of the country, qualified teachers and institutions will recognize the materials and be able to smoothly continue from where the previous teacher left off. Most Importantly . . .HAVE FUN!! Music should be something that you enjoy for a lifetime. So, try not to put unrealistic expectations on yourself or your children to learn too quickly. Everyone learns at a different pace and the key is to be able to enjoy the journey.

4 Things To Know Before Choosing a Dance Studio

If most dance studios seem to have qualified, friendly teachers, experience teaching children and a big show at the end of the year, aren’t they all pretty much the same? Does it really matter which place you decide to enroll at? Yes. There are 4 main things that can make a huge difference in the quality of instruction your child receives, the amount of extra work and hassles the parents must deal with and the overall enjoyment and satisfaction of being involved with a dance program. Here are 4 things that every parent should consider before deciding on a dance studio for their child.1. WHAT TYPE OF DANCE FLOOR IS USED?Dance is a very physical activity that requires a lot of jumping, which can put stress on bones and joints. Most dance footwear does not provide any cushioning or support, so the shock of dance movement can place a lot of pressure on the knees and back of a dancer. The best way to prevent against potential injury is by choosing a studio with a professional “floating floor”. A floating floor is a dance floor that rests on a system of high-density foam, to absorb the shock of jumping. A high-density foam base is superior to a “sprung” floor, which usually consists of a wood structure built on the regular floor. The top layer of the dance floor is also an important factor. A vinyl composite “Marley” floor is accepted worldwide as the best surface layer for recreational to professional dance. Facilities such as the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, the Royal Academy of Dance in London, England, and Riverdance - The Touring Show, all use Marley floors as their dance surface. A Marley floor allows dancers to slide, with a degree of “controlled slip", but is not slippery so there is less risk of slips and falls. Very few studios use professional Marley floors because of the expense involved, and usually opt for a regular floor tile for a studio floor. Our studio has a floating floor that has over 700 high density foam blocks under the floor surface and a Marley top surface that is imported from England. Our special floor helps reduce the risk of injuries and allow students to dance longer without getting tired.2. WHAT IS THE SIZE OF THE CLASS?If the dance class has fewer students in it each student will receive more personalized attention, learn more and have more fun. With younger students it is easier for a teacher to maintain control over the class and make sure each student understands the concepts and instructions. Our smaller class sizes make sure that no fundamental concepts are being missed. A smaller class size also allows our teachers to ensure that students are not developing bad habits or improper technique. Our studio limits all of our classes (ages 7 and up) to a maximum of just 12 students per class. With our pre-dance classes (ages 3 - 6) we limit all of our classes to a maximum of just 8 students per class.3. WHAT KIND OF QUALIFICATIONS DO THE INSTRUCTORS HAVE?All of our dance instructors are highly qualified and have university training. At a minimum we require our instructors to have acquired a bachelors degree in Dance, while some of our instructors also have graduate level education in addition to professional performance experience. This allows our school to offer a broad range of dance formats for students of all ages and levels while also ensuring our students are learning the correct movements and developing the right habits to reduce the risk of injury.4. CAN I GET IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE?In many studios the teacher or the studio owner conducts classes and does the administration. By trying to do two jobs at once, the class may suffer as the teacher has to use class time for customer service issues, or the studio may have no customer service available if the teacher is in a class. To have a good experience it is important to choose a studio that can assist you with details like costumes or schedules, even if a teacher is occupied in a class. Our studio has office staff on hand during all regular class times, so you can get immediate assistance.
